Meet Mrs. Gregory...
This is my sixth year teaching at Good Shepherd School, already, and I have loved every minute of it. Here's the story of how I got here...
I grew up in New York state’s Hudson Valley region, and I attended the State University of New York College at Geneseo, majoring in psychology. Upon receiving my bachelor's degree, I moved to Pennsylvania where I worked several years doing social work in Philadelphia. I’ve always enjoyed working with children, but I knew that my calling was in education. I returned to school, attending Holy Family University, where I obtained my master’s degree in education with certifications in elementary and special education. My teaching career began at the School District of Philadelphia, teaching Kindergarten and then 3rd grade. As my family grew, I took some years off to care for them. I returned to teaching in the Abington School District and am now teaching here at Good Shepherd Catholic School. I live in Ardsley with my husband, Kevin, and four children Connor, Abigail, Aiden, and Hadley. As a family, we enjoy the beach, traveling, and just spending time together. I have a strong love for my Catholic faith, as well as a strong love for teaching. What better way to fulfill my calling than through a career teaching at Good Shepherd! I hope to pass on my love of learning to my students, guiding them toward their future. |
